Speech Pathologist

$95,000 – $125,000 / year

We are currently seeking a Speech Pathologist to join Coastal Speech Therapy as a key member of our growing clinical team. This role will support our transition toward a more clinic-based model within the Illawarra region, while continuing to offer mobile therapy and telehealth where appropriate.

We welcome applications from early career clinicians through to experienced practitioners. For experienced clinicians, there may also be opportunities to grow into clinical supervision as the practice continues to expand.

What the Role Involves

  • Conduct speech, language, literacy, and communication assessments
  • Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based therapy plans
  • Provide engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, schools, and other professionals
  • Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
  • Support a varied NDIS caseload
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Provide occasional mobile therapy sessions, with kilometres reimbursed

What We're Looking For

  • Degree qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia, or eligibility to join
  • Interest or experience working with paediatric or mixed caseloads
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals
  • Strong organisation and caseload management skills
  • Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications, or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver's licence

Highly regarded: Experience with neurodivergent clients, NDIS, literacy, early language, speech sounds, or clinical supervision. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.

What We Offer for This Role

$95,000 – $125,000/year plus performance bonuses
